ZOHO Sheets Review: Great Online Software for PR
- Posted by Ephraim Cohen on January 2nd, 2007 filed in PR Tools
Google’s online applications may get a lot of attention, which may lead people to ignore better solutions. I was trying to use Google spreadsheets to store data for online articles and postings but found too many limitations (mostly in the charts and desktop editing area). An online discusssion board turned me on to Zoho Sheets. It easy, has a lot of functionality, and is very affordable. I’m sold.
Zoho is a suite of online office and database applications that look and feel like desktop applications. I’m slowly trying them all. In the case of Zoho sheets, I find it has most of the functionality that I’m used to on a desktop (more than Google) while make it very, very easy to publish data and charts on other posts (click here for an example):
- Easy to create charts
- Easy to publish data and charts on other sites
- Look and feel like desktop applications
- Plug-in allows documents to be edited on a desktop with MS Office
I’ve started using Zoho’s other tools such as their database, Zoho Creator, but none as regularly as the spreadsheets. Still, an online application is needed, I’d suggest Zoho first.
